Spiro Stat uses modern molecular assays.  Molecular diagnostics are
well known to be highly sensitive and specific  Because we utilize
molecular methods our diagnostic results are not skewed when a patient
is receiving immune suppressing medication, which could inhibit the
detection of the antibodies thereby resulting in a false negative test
result.

Each Spiro Stat Technologies, L.P. test requires a signed requisition from a licensed health care practitioner. 

Test kits are available for blood and tissue specimen submissions.  Test results will be delivered to the ordering practitioner.

Spiro Stat tests are currently not billable to insurance and all test forms require payment via credit card or check prior to testing.

Healthcare practitioners: Each kit will come with a patient specific form to order available tests.  Practitioners are not charged for kits.

Patients: You may order a shipping and collection kit to take to your physician. You will be charged only our cost for the kit and shipping to send the kit to you.  However, please note, only licensed health care practitioners may collect samples and sign requisition forms all samples and requisitions received by Spiro Stat that are not fully filled out and signed by a licensed clinician will not be processed. Unfortunately we cannot contact everyone that sends a test to track down all of the information required. Please ensure you fully fill out requisition forms.
